Ché Guevara executed 41 years ago today

Today is cause to celebrate.  It is the 41st anniversary of Ché Guevara’s death.

October 9, 1967 was the day that Ché Guevara, the Communist revolutionary, was finally brought to justice in Bolivia.

On this day in 1967, socialist revolutionary and guerilla leader Che Guevara, age 39, is killed by the Bolivian army. The U.S.-military-backed Bolivian forces captured Guevara on October 8 while battling his band of guerillas in Bolivia and assassinated him the following day. His hands were cut off as proof of death and his body was buried in an unmarked grave… (read more)

Is it ironic that we are seeing so many “socialist” aspects in America today?  We don’t need a Ché here.  But, have been seeing the emergence of one in the presidential campaign?
